Negatives: Customer service from start to finish needs work. Felt kind of like we were watching America's Got Talent live. More like a collection of individual performances rather than a show. We did enjoy them however they were somewhat disjointed. We didn't find the food "inedible" as some have shared. A few staff in particular, Stephanie on the phone, Nova in the dining room, MJ at the Atrium Bar, and Sergio in the Iris exhibit, stood out among the crew providing excellent service. Trolley services to various areas on the island was nice. Multiple bath houses gave easy access to facilities. Availability of lunch in multiple locations (buffet and food trucks) was good to have. The pizza was delicious and available in multiple locations on the ship. ![]() We felt little/no movement despite some inclement weather. Cabin size was good we felt a little bigger than others we've been in. Dining room staff was attentive and pleasant. POSITIVES: Embarkation and departure was smoothe and quick. ![]() While each person's experience and perception will be different, this is my take on MSC positives, neutrals, and negatives. All this to say I believe I had a reasonable expectation for what I would experience. I do my research before booking and participate in forums for cruisers of the line and the particular sailing. First, I am a seasoned cruiser, having sailed on a variety of lines, in a variety of categories. ![]() I have waited a few days to share my review to have time to process my experience. I recently returned from my first MSC experience (Seaside 10/12-15/2023) and in all honesty it will be my last.
